Tech Time at the Library

Join us every 4th Tuesday of the month for Tech Time!

These are basic technology/computer classes meant for adults and seniors looking to learn more about the devices, websites, and apps we use every day!

No registration required!

Classes will be held in the Small Conference Room (past the Children's Area) at Noon.

 

Upcoming Topics:

May 28th:

  • What in the Worl d is A.I.?
    It's everywhere these days! But what does AI even mean? Come out and watch a presentation written by an AI chat-bot, ChatGPT (but edited by a human) about what exactly AI is, the benefits, drawbacks, and how you can take advantage of it.

 

June 25th:

  • Microsoft Excel
    Come learn about Spreadsheets! We'll take a look at the different parts of a spreadsheet, what you can use them for, and learn some basic functions like creating a calendar or tracking a budget.

 

July 23rd:

  • Smartphone Basics
    This month we'll take a closer look at something most of us use every day! Our Smartphones. Learn how to find your settings and what they do, change what your home screen looks like, and download an app!

 

August 27th:

  • Your Best Friend, Google
    Google! It's the thing you type your questions in and where you check your email. But did you know it's also has a word processor? A slideshow and spreadsheet editor? How about online storage and file sharing? And all those things are free?! Come out to the library and learn about all the things Google can do!
